The pothole has been there for months. Cars are driving in the middle of the road to avoid it! It’s an accident waiting to happen. There are numerous potholes along Marches Road that are a ridiculous size. No chance of measuring due to safety issue with cars driving at speed. Just get your contractors to drive along the road to see the extent of the potholes.

As of Thursday 16th February 2023 the road still hasn’t been fixed! Marches Road is in an appalling condition and will cause damage to cars! As stated before, I am unable to upload any photos as there is nowhere safe on the road to be able to park/stop and take photos to show the extent of the damage. This road has been in this condition way before December 2022 and find it astounding that nothing has been done by your highways department to rectify it. If my car does sustain any damage since originally reporting this, I will be seeking legal advice to claim from you!

It’s now March 17th and the road is still not fixed! There’s pot holes all the way down Marches Road that need to be fixed urgently. It’s been months now since reporting and still no end in sight.

The whole of Marches Road is a disgrace to us tax payers. I have reported this whole road to WSCC loads of times. I just get an email back saying the report is closed and will be fixed within 28 days. I've been reporting this road for months. WSCC are a waste of space. I bet none of the managers there have to use this road. I have even tried by saying it's a danger to cyclists which I thought would get it fixed but not even that has helped!

I have just reported the whole road again to WSCC. I have received their usual auto email "We have received your report which our Highways team will take forward and investigate for you. We aim to respond to you within 10 working days.". Shall I hold my breath?! In a few weeks I will probably get one saying Closed and will be fixed within 28 days. Then nothing will happen...
