Raised manhole cover, trip hazard.
Reported via desktop in the Pavements category anonymously at 17:54, Thu 19 January 2023
Sent to Bristol City Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 4150592.
I raised this problem some time ago, but it has just been closed as "no action required". The attached picture shows a vertical lip, around 5cm high from the surrounding pavement surface. There is a similar lip on part of one other side too. I do not consider this satisfactory, nor I'm sure do elderly or disabled pedestrians. Admittedly my "Pin" position in the previous posting was slightly inaccurate but I would have expected the inspector to check any nearby covers while on site. For clarity the cover concerned is on the corner of Priory Avenue and the section of Eastfield towards Eastfield Road.
