Flooding in underpass

Reported via mobile in the Other (non-highways) category anonymously at 19:44, Mon 16 January 2023

Sent to Hampshire County Council and New Forest District Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 4137960.

I think the situation has been improved , but had to wade through ankle deep water last weekend or take a long way round. Would a wooden raised walkway along one side be helpful ? Thank you for your assistance.

Updates

  • Recurring problem whenever it rains requiring a long detour or wellington boots to be worn. Suggested a wooden raised walkway along one side , but obviously not suitable for mobility scooters or pushchairs or elderly.

  • This is a well used walkway into town centre and to schools. Problem needs to be sorted out.
