Potholes all along the road

Potholes have been here for around 4-5months. they go all along the road between the junction of Aperfield Road and the Aperfield Inn.

  • These potholes have not been fixed there are two large potholes approx outside 279 main rd and smaller ones nearer the junction with aperfield rd and more than a month since your contractor was notified

  • This is getting worse every day. The road is like a third world country. When will this get fixed?

  • Thank you for your further comments regarding this issue. Bromley are aware of the significant volume of works raised and outstanding with our contractor and we are continuing to monitor and liaise with them over this outstanding schedule of works. Our Officers are not able to give precise timeframes to individual jobs at this moment but are continuing to undertake regular safety inspections and check any reported issues. We will continue to work with our contractor to ensure that all outstanding jobs are addressed as quickly as they are able.

  • The potholes along the main road are so bad now they are joining up. Tonight I tripped on one while trying to cross the road and landed hard on both knees. Fortunately the oncoming car was able to stop and a neighbour helped me. It could have been a lot worse.

  • Potholes now stretch from zebra crossing at Edward road junction all the way along to the aperfield inn - it’s is almost impossible to miss them without swerving dangerously. When will this be fixed pleas?
