Sent to Bromley Council less than a minute later

We are worried about the structure of our home as every time buses and heavy traffic go over the cracks across oxhawth crescent going from 49 - 51 there is heavy vibration which causes our home to shake being worse upstairs . This has been ongoing for a long time now and we thought it was time to act as we are worried . I would like this looked into . Thank you

  • Hello after just reading your reply comment, I'm quite shocked that you appear to think there is no problem with the large cracks in the road, as I explained when buses and large vehicles go over them my home shudders ie the front bay window and furnishing upstairs. I think there is a problem here and I'm not sure as to why you disagree. Has there been anyone actually look at the road surface recently ? . And has anyone else complained about this problem ?. I look forward to hearing from you

  • The defects here do not meet our Investigatory levels for repair and are not considered a safety issue. Unfortunately we cannot guarantee zero effects from passing traffic anywhere in the borough. The local Highway Inspector has raised a job here to try and smooth any areas of significant level difference outside of our safety repair remit in a good faith effort to alleviate any vibrations we can. This is as much as we can do and we will be taking no further action should it not resolve the issue.
