  • This recently planted (last year?) tree (outside no 79) is still unstaked and moves when windy

  • Thank you for your comments. A job is raised for the contractor to re-stake the young tree which is in hand to be completed. Separately our new planting contractor (Griswood & Toms) as part of the young tree maintenance scheme is due to visit sites to check trees stakes and adjust ties as required before the watering programme kicks in later this month.

  • Thanks for doing this. The tree is now thriving and I think it's actually flowering now too. If we'd have staked it ourselves would that have been a problem? Or do you prefer us to report and leave it to you?

Posted anonymously at 09:41, Sunday 19 May 2024

  • That would not of been a problem, we are more than grateful for any help with young tree maintenance of knocking in stakes/adjusting ties. Also with watering in times of drought, I enclose below watering poster. Thanks for your help.
