Pavement damaged

Reported via desktop in the Pavement Defect category anonymously at 16:28, Friday 13 January 2023 using FixMyStreet Pro

Sent to Bromley Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 4125259.

Following a recent fire main failure (week before Christmas) the pavement is badly damaged and uneven creating a serious trip hazard on a busy path to/from Elmstead Woods railway station. The immediate area surrounding the fire main manhole is repaired but the surrounding area was not despite being pushed up by the water pressure / flow of water.

  • I note that the area actually marked up for a repair does in fact miss some additional patches that also require repair. Assuming that the trip hazards are to be addressed these areas will need to be included in the planned works.
