Lorries delivering skips
Reported via desktop in the Pavement Defect category anonymously at 14:19, Friday 13 January 2023 using FixMyStreet Pro
Sent to Bromley Council less than a minute later
At Number 10 a skip was removed by a lorry reversing over the verge and footpath. I fully expect that a new skip will appear as the house is undergoing renovation. There is a drive but that is not used to site the skip. Can you do something to prevent lorries operating in this manner I do believe it is not lawful to reverse vehicules across the footpath if there is no access. I warning letter to skip provides may be useful as is a letter to the property owners/builders.

As anticipated there is another skip and the former grass verge is now a mud pile from the delivery lorry. You have to see it to understand how much damage is done. a picture does not do the trick. The skip is "Easy Load".delivered yesterday
