Victoria Rd Subway coping stone removed
Reported in the Pavements/footpaths category anonymously at 11:08, Wed 18 December 2013
Sent to Halton Borough Council 1 minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 412428.
The corner coping stone on the top of the retaining wall at the entrance to this subway has been removed and is lying nearby. This has exposed the supports for the railing on top and is potentially dangerous.

Loose piece has been removed from where it fell, I assume by Halton Council, but coping not yet repaired.
Maybe it is on a list awaiting its turn?Posted anonymously at 13:05, Wed 15 January 2014

Hi, many thanks for your email to me again today via this site.
I have had the following response today: "During the evening of the reported incident the coping and associated retaining wall plinth were inspected to ensure the underpass area was in a safe condition. The dislodged coping was then collected the following day and removed to our term contractors storage compound. Following the Christmas break an order was raised for our term contractor to reinstate the coping by the end of this month (January 2014)".
I hope this is to your satisfaction. Thanks, Cllr Norman Plumpton Walsh, Labour Councillor for Mersey Ward, Runcorn
