Damage to asphalt part of the pavement outside 49 Greencourt Road Petts Wood
Reported via mobile in the Pavement Defect category anonymously at 08:21, Wednesday 11 January 2023 using FixMyStreet Pro
Sent to Bromley Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 4112436.
Yesterday contractors employed by Bromley Council removed a stump of a former street tree outside 47 Greencourt Road. See photo 3. They parked their vehicle plus trailer outside 49 Greencourt Road. This morning, I noticed damaged to the asphalt edge of the pavement. This was in tact yesterday morning at 08:30.
There is a large hole where the surface of the tarmac has been damaged with large chunks of asphalt over the pavement. See photos 1 & 2. I do not know if the contractors stump removing equipment was responsible for this damage.
This is now a trip hazard for pedestrians. Please can this be repaired as a matter of urgency.
Many thanks

The asphalt has been repaired but in the process of doing so your contractor damaged a paving slab which is cracked in three places. This needs to be inspected as this repair has not been carried out in a totally satisfactory manner.
