Dead tree high risk to adjoining gardens with kids in

Reported via mobile in the Tree Requires Pruning category anonymously at 23:32, Tuesday 10 January 2023 using FixMyStreet Pro

Sent to Bromley Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 4112089.

Hi, a while ago the council finally cut back this huge dead oak tree, but unfortunately didn’t finish the job in entirety. Leaving behind all of the tall trunk which is now rotting and is a danger to falling on the gardens that this park alley way backs onto. It’s extremely large and heavy, which if it came down would certainly crush and kill anyone unlucky enough to be underneath. Could you look into this issue to finish the job and cut the tree completely down please.

  • Hi, the guys came today and cut down one of the dead trees. Looks like they’ve left now though. Will they be cutting down the other one?

  • Yes, we are aware that they have not yet removed this tree. Yes, they still must remove this tree. Thank you.
