Food waste and other rubbish

Reported in the Rubbish (refuse and recycling) category anonymously at 09:57, Thu 12 December 2013

Sent to Vale of White Horse District Council 3 minutes later

This has been reported on many occasions and is still not been dealt with. The Vale of White Horse District council should be ashamed of themselves for allowing this to continually happen! There is raw food waste and overflowing food bins, including other unauthorised dumping. The Mahee Indian takeaway who's bin is overflowing (which has been like this for two weeks) are breaking environmental law by allowing raw food waste and other rubbish onto the highway. This is a health hazard and an obstruction. Why are the takeaway shop, Cottage Imperial, Posh Nosh and Mahee takeaways shops continually allowed to break the law? Why are they not being fined? Why are they still trading?

  • Whilst the rubbish around the bins was eventually moved, it is still an ongoing issue. Why are the fast foods shops continually aloud to break environmental law without any consequences?
