Footpath subsiding
Reported via desktop in the Pavement damage category anonymously at 11:56, Tue 10 January 2023 using FixMyStreet Pro
Sent to Bath and North East Somerset Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 4108976.
The footpath directly outside my front door is a public footpath. It has several large cracks, made much worse by recent extremes of weather. The movement is undermining my porch and causing it to collapse. This issue has been slowly getting worse over the last 3-4 years and it is because I have had a builder come and investigate the large cracks in my porch that I have identified that there is a problem underlying the public path.

In addition to the above - I asked Wessex Water to come and check if there was a collapsed drain causing the problem. They checked the drain with a camera and said it was fine and fitted a new drain cover as the old one was surrounded by cracks.
