Deep 12” pothole

Sent to West Sussex County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 4108381.

Deep 12” pothole about 100m going uphill from Ravenswood. Also another couple of potholes along same stretch. On left of road as you come down the hill from Horsted Keynes direction towards the Ravenswood Hotel.

  • I believe that it has been partially filled, but not sufficiently well and there is water flowing in and around the pothole area which means it will just erode again very quickly. Maybe there is a pipe underneath this that is in need of repair. It still needs further investigation. The one in the middle of the road adjacent to it has not been filled and that still makes a terrible thud if you have to go through it.
