The granite sets at the entrance to Orchard Close

Reported via desktop in the Road Traffic Signs and Road Markings category by Elisabeth Wood at 11:02, Sunday 8 January 2023 using FixMyStreet Pro

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later

The sets across the entrance from St Andrews Road need replacing or lifting. Over the years that road surface "growth" has rendered them inefficient at preventing rain water entering the Close after heavy rain, thus causing it to flood alarmingly. Please could the Council include in the planned works the rectification of this current failure. The Close has recently spend a large sum of money having the land drains cleaned out. Most of the debris in one was the refuse from St Andrews Road gutters.

  • Has this matter been discussed further please?

And I'm also awaiting progress on my request to have double yellow lines painted on the corner Orchard Close/up St Andrews Road. Cars are continually being parked right on the corner obliterating view and therefore safe exit.
