Potholes at junction to M8 Westbound

Reported via Android in the Potholes category anonymously at 18:56, Saturday 7 January 2023

Sent to Glasgow City Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 4099260.

A large stretch of potholes has opened up on the middle of the road on Helen Street (heading southbound) at the junction turning right onto the M8 slip road (to travel westbound). The potholes have been there for a number of months but could be avoided, however they have opened up to a degree that it is not possible to avoid them when turning right as above. Requires cut out, resurfaced and tar line sealed.

Updates

  • Potholes remain at location described and have gotten worse. Very poor that Glasgow City Council have not even attempted to repair this yet, considering there are several reports from various persons.
