Trip hazard due to sunken drain.

Reported via desktop in the Other (non-highways) category anonymously at 18:15, Fri 6 January 2023

Sent to Gosport Borough Council and Hampshire County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 4096236.

I reported this drain last month. A report was done and it was decided that ‘no action would take place. I rather surprised at the report. This is both a trip hazard to the many children and parents who walk down from Fremantle Road through Major Court , to Felix road and the school, and a problem for car suspension and tyre damage. I am fortunate in that I know the ironworks are much lower than the tarmac , but for those who don’t and come round the corner , could very easily burst a tyre. I see lots of Mums who cross the road to come through Major court to school with push chairs and the buggies literally drop into the drain. I would respectfully request that this be looked at again .
