The defects here do not meet our Investigatory levels for repair and are not considered a safety issue. Unfortunately we cannot guarantee zero effects from passing traffic anywhere in the borough. The local Highway Inspector has raised a job here to try and smooth any areas of significant level difference outside of our safety repair remit in a good faith effort to alleviate any vibrations we can. This is as much as we can do and we will be taking no further action should it not resolve the issue.

This issue was first reported on 5 January 2023 and I am not aware that steps have been taken to address the issue. The road surface has now deteriorated even more and the impact it is having on the residents nearby is more severe. I have no doubt that it is now causing structural damage to the properties close by, which the council, through their lack of action are therefore responsible for. Please explain why this has not be addressed as a matter of urgency.
