Motorbike parking at Ashmore Road
Reported in the Car parking category anonymously at 14:04, Tue 3 December 2013
Sent to Coventry City Council 1 minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 408615.
The residents of 22 Ashmore Road park their very large motorbike on the pavement each night. Ashmore Road is a narrow street where the cars have to park slightly on the kerb each side to leave enough room for cars to drive down. When the Motorbike is parked on the pavement outside number 22 this does not leave enough space to walk through, either on foot, in a wheelchair, and is impossible to get a pushchair through. Women with pushchairs therefore have to walk on the road, andangering both themselves and their children and recently a disabled pensioner from the area fell and injured herself while trying to walk through the small gap. When asked to move the bike in the past, the owners of the bikes have become aggressive, therefore this forum is having to be used. Many thanks for reading this.
