Whole road that the public use is extremely dangerous

Reported via mobile in the Pavement Defect category anonymously at 15:15, Monday 2 January 2023 using FixMyStreet Pro

Sent to Bromley Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 4077146.

There are multiple pot holes along the road starting from 2 Chelsfield Lane up until the slip road ends at 24 Chelsfield Lane. What started as a few minor ones has now turned in to vast amount very large holes. The tarmac has crumbled throughout and is now considered dangerous. Cars driving through can easily flick up the loose tarmac and injure someone walking by. Not to mention the damage it can cause to parked vehicles. The public footpath is now not considered usable by people with pushchairs and wheelchairs and yet there are no other options. The whole slip road needs to be re done for safety reasons.

  • I would like to add to this report as the potholes have just gotten worse and worse due to the bad weather. This entire slip road really needs relaying. My mother lives on this road and uses a wheelchair, it makes pushing out the street extremely dangerous.

  • Could we got a possible time frame as to when this road will be repaired? I'm a runner and I went out last night and ended up injuring myself due to the pot holes causing my ankle to roll. As mentioned previously, this road is a hazard to all that use it.
