2 x deep potholes that need an urgent fill
Reported via mobile in the Pothole category anonymously at 14:08, Sun 1 January 2023
Sent to Hampshire County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 4074040.
There are two deep potholes that have shed their tarmac and sub base layer into the road. Deep enough that water has pooled in them. These will easily damage tyres and alloy rims.
I have marked images for locations but they can easily be located. If heading towards All Saints School the first one is just after Frere Avenue, the second one is just before The Lea junction.
There are many other areas of tarmac surface damage on Lea Wood Road that will become similar potholes if left unrepaired (and have been for several years). These have all been patch repaired several times already, the road could use a resurface.

Potholes are still present and now larger + deeper. Cones have been placed in the holes to warn other drivers. With a row of permanently parked cars, coned potholes and broken road surface - Lea Wood Road is a mess, and for a busy school run road it isn't acceptable. Resident vehicles are getting damaged.

These potholes are back as well as the rest of the road looking like swiss cheese. Will the council ever fully repair Leawood Road as it is a mess?!
