No it has not. Only part of the job done, as usual. You marked out all the holes neatly with white paint which was quickly washed off before your contractors got round to doing the job, again! Still a substantial number of dangerous large holes on the centerline round the curve towards the A21.

No it has not. May I politely suggest your manager meets with the contractors manager and walks round the High St from Ladycroft to the A21 and then tell me the dangerous holes in the middle of the carriageway have all been filled satisfactorily, Thank you.

The wait goes on, and on, and on. Same with Starts Hill Road at Bassetts entrance. Same problem EVERY YEAR, same intransigence from council despite DANGEROUS condition of road, esp for 2 wheelers, but car suspension and tyres at risk too!

Thank you for your further comments regarding this issue. Bromley are aware of the significant volume of works raised and outstanding with our contractor and we are continuing to monitor and liaise with them over this outstanding schedule of works. Our Officers are not able to give precise timeframes to individual jobs at this moment but are continuing to undertake regular safety inspections and check any reported issues. We will continue to work with our contractor to ensure that all outstanding jobs are addressed as quickly as they are able.”

This is simply not good enough. We have been fobbed off for at least 6 months now. If your contractor cannot provide a schedule of work so that you on behalf of taxpayers know when this will be fixed, then neither you nor your contractors are fit for purpose. This road is dangerous and you should be seeking more competent contractors if the existing ones are failing to deliver. There are far too many dangerous and long outstanding issues with the roads in Bromley. These are serious Health & Safety matters and you are disturbingly relaxed about getting them fixed within a reasonable timescale.
