Dangerous parking

Reported via desktop in the Roads/highways category anonymously at 21:12, Thu 22 December 2022

Sent to Newport Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 4053721.

There are cars double parking on a blind corner, on brow of hill, also obstructing entrance in and out of blaen-y-pant residential home.the cars are parked very dangerous and is only a matter of time before a serious accident will occur.can i suggest that on this corner double yellow lines are put down preventing an accident as stated in the highway code all the aboved mentioned should never be done by a responsable car owner driving a car correctly.if there is an accident there, surely this would be neglect as i have informed you of concerns

Updates

  • Basically nobody from council, highways want to know of this serious problem until there is a serious accident.By the way when it was half term funny how no cars were then parked there hense the place being run by council, for children with needs for whom it is the teachers parking there.NEVER MIND ALL IN HOUSE.

  • Problem is any councillor doesn,t want to know they are in it for the money no wonder everywhere now looks like a tip and so much dangerous parking. This used to be a nice area but basically its all money for the boys (girls) as nobody wants to do a thing until there is a death from dangerous driver plus dangerous parking its to late when horse has bolted and then an enquiry is held then something will be done but at what cost first !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
