Pavement Parking

Reported in the Car parking category anonymously at 08:09, Thu 14 November 2013 using FixMyStreet Pro

Sent to West Oxfordshire District Council less than a minute later

Outside numbers 22 to 32 North Street, Vehicles are regularly parking with two wheels on the pavement/facing oncoming traffic/without lights. This causes inconvenience to pedestrians, particularly pushchairs, wheelchairs. Causes congestion and near miss accidents. Bearing in mind this stretch of road is between the brow of a hill and a bend, this practice is less than ideal. I feel that, as the police and parish council have tried and failed to remedy this, double yellow lines both sides of the carriageway may be a suitable solution, or failing that a Traffic Regulation Order prohibiting parking.
