Thank you for your enquiry. please note that as outlined in our Tree Management Strategy (tree-management-strategy-2023-to-2027 (bromley.gov.uk) the Council will not prune trees in relation to the following: Branches overhanging properties. Residents have the right to exercise their right under common law to prune back branches to their property boundary, withal arising disposed of by the resident. Pruning should be carried out following discussion with one of the Council’s Tree Officers and completed to the standard set out in BS3998:2010 Tree Work;
However, it is noted the Oak's canopy is in close proximity to building structures and works are raised to crown reduce the tree which is in hand to be completed by the contractor. Thank you for your patience.

Please accept our apologies for the delays. These works have been removed from our incumbent contractor and given to a third party contractor. We anticipate these will be completed within the next 6 to 8 weeks.
