Tree roots are damaging the wall of No.168 that hold the drive gates, there is also a blocked gully here also

  • Investigation: Completed (Defect Found), Defect Repair: Not Started - Regarding the condition of the drains in this section of Windmill Avenue, we are pleased to confirm that the problem you have indicated in this location, has a work order to investigate, clean and test the gully. This should hopefully be completed within a month’s time. Please be assured that you will receive an update once repairs are concluded. Any works we undertake to the trees are for Highway safety reasons only and we do not undertake any works below ground. We also don’t undertake any works on private land, to repair third party assets. To expedite this matter further, we kindly advise that you would need to contact you household insurer, as we don’t undertake survey works to discount interference from a highway asset such as a tree. Should your insurers wish to contact our insurers, this can be done via any claim against Northamptonshire Highways for damages as a potential result of this issue. An insurance claim form can be requested via highwaysinsurance@northnorthants.gov.uk.

  • Hi could you please tell me if the damaged pier as been inspected yet because it can only be inspected from inside the property when gates are closed if need to get in touch 07752315432 regards mr t dexter
