Fallen, damaged and potentially dangerous trees
Reported in the Tree (dangerous) category by Crispin Cooper at 12:20, Sun 10 November 2013
Sent to Merton 5 minutes later. Council ref: 1679927.
During the recent high winds several trees in the small park area were badly damages, including a very large section of tree which is currently being held up by another tree. Some pieces look potentially dangerous as they could easily fall on people in the park or in to the back gardens of houses on homefield gardens.

This problem has not been fixed. There are still large sections of fallen tree in the park and some suspended branches and one very large piece of tree which are potentially dangerous.

The fallen trees and suspended branches still haven't been properly cleared up. There is still an extremely large section of fallen tree suspended in another tree. Anything that can be done to get some action on this?

I've now left the area so will not be able to verify if and when this has been fixed. If another user who is local can follow up on it that would be great.
Cheers, and all my best to the residents of Merton.

Well it's been a year, I have no idea if this has been fixed since I no longer live in the area. I'm going to mark it closed - if there is still a problem someone still resident can re-report it.
