Flood

Reported anonymously at 15:36, Thu 7 November 2013

Sent to King's Lynn and West Norfolk Borough Council and Norfolk County Council 4 minutes later. FixMyStreet ref: 401191.

I don't wish to be a nuisance , The Road at this point on the B1155 between Burnham Overy Town and Leath House "X" road junction , the road being lower than the surrounding land , in heavy rain floods and because the road is lower than the land the water takes a long time to soak away , could a drainage gravel soak-away not be placed near this location ? , Similarly in Burnham Overy Town , near the War Memorial just round the bad bend water also floods there in heavy rain .

  • to my knowledge the problem still remains , my vehicle is higher off the ground and can clear the problem area but my Wife's car , a Suzuki Alto and My Son's Car a Saxo are very low to the road , my Wife takes an alternative route to avoid this road , my Son does also , why should they have to add distances to their journeys whilst waiting for a mess to be cleared ?
