Cars blocking pavement

Sent to Glasgow City Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 4008912.

Car owners constantly park right across the pavement here. There is no way a wheelchair user can navigate past this.

    This car is constatnly parked on pavement across from my driveway making access neatly impossible . Bins haver been there since nov 2022 . Reported to Police Scotland and local authority .Will update when i can

  • Police have contacted the driver and been warned about future parking . Its not a police matter now its a council issue . Any obstruction that gives problem means that ASBO can be served on the individual . As a footnote the car was parked one day ad again reported it via website . I got a reply from Easterhouse Police station that said they will be passing on the issue to the Council Dept that now deals with these issues . They also said that one way it might be dealt with will be to ticket cars that are parked on a pavement as it may cause Emergency Vechiles or Refuse trucks may not get past
