  • Investigation: Completed (Fixed on site) - We can confirm that we have cleared the footpath whilst on the site.

    State changed to: Fixed

Posted by Northamptonshire Highways at 08:48, Fri 2 December 2022

  • The fix appears to have worked temporarily as now, due to the sloping road surface, shallow curb and the direction of water/silt naturally draining in this area it's apparent that the issue will be on going and the path will continue to become inaccessible until further action is taken to prevent a build up obstructing pedestrian access.

    Still open, via questionnaire

  • The path is still impassable due to sitting water and thick sludge. When there is heavy rainfall the adjacent road also floods.

  • As you can see from the photo the path is now completely impassible people now have to walk onto the A4500 to get by this is an accident waiting to happen

  • As can be seen from the photo attached, this path still remains impassable forcing pedestrians onto a very busy main road. Anyone using a wheelchair or pushing a pram is unable to use this path. This has been reported several times by the public yet nothing seems to be done about it.
