Road surface badly potholed

Reported via desktop in the Roads/highways category anonymously at 16:14, Fri 25 November 2022

Sent to West Sussex County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 3993916.

On this section of the road from Maplehurst that joins the A272 the surface as you approach the road junction is badly potholed. This has been caused by previous resurfacing attempts. The surface is degraded badly and retains water even on the slope. Consequently once this freezes the potential for a vehicle to slide over the junction is high. There is evidence that previously the surface had red warning tarmac but this has all but disappeared.
