Damaged bollards and pavement
Reported via mobile in the Railings, bollard, & post damage category anonymously at 17:12, Fri 18 November 2022
Sent to Bath and North East Somerset Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 3975676.
There is repeated damage being caused by lorries hitting the safety bollards on almost a weekly basis. This escalation is undoubtedly linked to the introduction of the clean air zone which does not cover Claremont Road and satnav devices sending lorries via this shortcut to avoid town thus providing a free rat run for large polluting lorries and a very dangerous corner.

Whilst to a minor extent the individual damage has been fixed, immediately another 2 sets of damage have occurred- so there is a much bigger traffic problem here thst the council are ignoring and refusing to acknowledge.
