Slip hazard due to grass verge damage...

Reported via desktop in the Car parking category anonymously at 11:13, Tue 15 November 2022

Sent to Leeds City Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 3965458.

The entire front garden of 202 Stainbeck Road has been block paved so that upto three cars can park on the property. The grass verge outside is now a mud patch and the pavement/footpath has become a slip hazard. Perhaps the Council could ask the owner/occupier of the property to block pave or tarmac the Council's grass verge to ensure that no accidents or messing of footwear takes place. It's an example of a non caring about the amenity of the area.

Updates

  • Various Leed City Council Depts. are just not bothered about what is in effect criminal damage to their property namely the grass verges and the footpath. The local Councillors has been emailed but only give lip service. Perhaps the LCC will sit up and take notice if someone sues them for damages if the slip on the mud and end up in Hospital.

  • No on seems bothered. The verge now resembles a ploughed field. The footpath is mudded and slippery.
