Keep clear road marking very faint
Reported via mobile in the Road Markings category anonymously at 16:47, Fri 11 November 2022 using FixMyStreet Pro
Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 3957483.
This is the junction of Shirelake close and Thames Street. On Thames Street, there are faint "keep clear" road markings in North directions. They are not highlighted enough to be seen by road users, especially at night. As a result, it is challenging to enter/exit Shirelake close during heavy traffic. It also holds up traffic as road users cannot turn into Shirelake close from the far lane when the near lane is blocked with traffic. Renewing the keep clear road markings would be appreciated.

Thank you for your report. I have added your request to our maintenance list for 2023/24. However, these works will have to compete with others that may have a higher priority as more reports are received (for example where there are greater safety implications). As a result it may get deferred more than once.
