The surface of the road is very bad partly due to flooding. Its been like this a long time but has recently got worse. Not helped by cars being left for months on the other side of the road which desparately needs sweeping.

These holes have been there for months in fact the surface has been bad at least a couple of years. I think the water company are looking at the drainage now.

Updates

  • I know that the engineers have been out to look at the problem. The holes have been filled to an extent but the drain desperately needs clearing. They did phone me and we discussed it but it seems that they simply don't have enough money to fix the drain etc. They have more important/main roads to sort out which is fair enough. Just a pity they don't have enough money to do more!
