"40 MPH" signs on both sides of the road hidden by vegetation

Reported via desktop in the Obscured by vegetation or Dirty category by David Hall at 11:15, Fri 4 November 2022 using FixMyStreet Pro

Sent to Northamptonshire Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 3938514.

These two signs have been hidden from view for many months and have previously reported.

These are very important signs as they warn drivers to slow down on the approach to a narrow bridge over the Midland main railway lines which carries trains at over 100mph at this point.

Should a vehicle fail to negotiate the bend at the bridge it would easily break through the fence and fall onto the tracks - I need not point out the potential catastrophic result !

URGENT ATTENTION IS REQUIRED HERE !
