Access chambers sinking creating a major pothole in more than one spot here

Reported via iOS in the Potholes category anonymously at 07:07, Thu 3 November 2022

Sent to Leicestershire County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 3934472.

Two large access chambers approx 20m apart, appear to be sinking and getting worse, looks like someone has painted a big X on them so to highlight the issue as they are way below the road surface just past the rail crossing heading towards Bardon roundabout, almost unavoidable, I know this is a busy road but fearful that with all the HGV’s using the road that they might just collapse causing an accident and more congestion.

Updates

  • I have also reported these a couple of times over the past year and been ignored. they are definitely getting worse and difficult to spot in the rain or the dark.
