Block gutters causes major flooding

This road was recently resurfaced. Either the gutters were covered by tarmac or they are blocked. Either way, it is the Council's duty to unblock them.

Perhaps if the Council ever swept up the autumn leaves in the street once in a while this problem might not recur?

  • This is a widespread problem . I agree the Council should be clearing autumn leaves ! They want us to leave the car at home , but your at risk of being soaked by cars and buses driving through these massive puddles if you try walking about . It's best to collect them and use them for compost before they get winter road salt . If you drive you cannot see the potholes if they are under a huge puddle . You can't win !
