For the past four years I have had either rude residents or police officers tell me to move on from parking outside st. Nicolas school in Abingdon. I have been moved round the corner or up the road or the other side of the bridge? All of where you get angry home owners. I am not one of the people that park without thinking of pedestrians or where is not safe for others or my own family's safety, or block drive ways, i am just trying to collect my daughter from school. There is a small lay bay outside the school which does not effect the flow of traffic or any residents housing. But we are told we can't park there? Can you tell me why this is? and where myself and other parents are meant to park when collecting our children from there place of education? This situation is very bad. I am unable to walk to the school as I live 10 miles and come straight from my place or work. I am parked 10 minutes at the most. Please advice on, and if its possible to make some changes to the parking problems.
