Resurfacing not finished oroperly

Sent to Bromley Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 3923541.

Oakwood Gardens was resurfaced last Thursday. The tarmac was not fully removed before resurfacing out side Mayfield. The new tarmac is not finished correctly to the kerb as a result, is standing proud and already crumbling

  • Further works are necessary to resolve the issue and have been scheduled for action.

  • We can confirm we are still awaiting a programme date from our contractor that these remedial works. Once this has been programmed we will provide a further update.

  • We are sorry for the lack of update regarding this issue. After another joint inspection with the contractor about theses works a method of working has been agreed, due to the levels available works will have to be carried out to the crossover as well as the carriageway. The council will send a letter out shortly to the homeowner to provide further information on the remedial works.

  • Resident of Mayfield on Oakwood Gardens has called back as the concrete has been dug out on Monday, blocks have been delivered but no crew have returned, they are unable to access the drive at the moment and need to m over a car this weekend.

  • Whilst the pavement and kerb has been sorted, the tarmac was cut back by the workmen and there remains a gap between the tarmac and the kerb. Can you please get the contractor to come back and fix this.
