Blocked drain cover

Sent to Adur District Council and West Sussex County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 3907666.

This drain cover looks very blocked, and it is hard to see how any water could go through it. It is on a slope so I would imagine water just rushes across it to the next working drain hole. The location is where The Drive has a parallel piece of road, and is on that bit, next to the raised bank with trees. Abot half way up that section.

Updates

Finally had a chance to check this, and guess what, no sign of any attempt to clear the grid.
