The neighbours in my street insist on parking their two cars over three parking spaces outside their house.

The nighbour continually park their 2 cars over 3 parking spaces outside their house, I have been approached by the neighbour who insists I have no right to park there as it is outside their house as I live across the road, I only take up one space and there is ample for all of us if they parked their cars correctly, I am becoming increasingly feeling harassed and intimidated, I have lived here for over 40 years and never had this problem until the neighbours moved in a few years ago. I am a widow living alone and am very worried as I have to park my car on a grass verge when they do this. Any assistance would be gratefully appreciated.
