Poor road surface

Sent to Barnsley Borough Council 2 minutes later. FixMyStreet ref: 389137.

The road surface is very bumpy and uncomfortable to drive along due to multiple road repairs leaving unintentional speed humps all along the road!

  • I have received an automated acknowledgement email from the council but, 4 weeks later, I have received no further contact and the problem has not been fixed - very poor service and attitude towards the public!

  • Still no contact from the council - I thought that my paying income tax, VAT, Council Tax, Road Fund licence, tax on petrol, etc etc they would at least have some common courtesy and respond!

  • The problem is not fixed, however, I have had an email response from a local councillor promising that repairs will be completed in January 2014.
