Lamppost damaged

Sent to Bromley Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 3875848.

Call from metropolitan police: RTC - car hit lamppost Beckenham High Street junction of Manor Road with wires exposed. Possibly another damaged post. Incident number 8114 07/04/2022.

  • J B Riney have attended. Lamppost is bent but solid in ground and will not fall. Will need to be replaced in next few weeks. Traffic lights are out for junction as car has flattened one set and is currently still in situ on them. Contractor on scene dealing and warnings have been put out. Awaiting car recovery.

  • Member of public advises car has now been towed but debris is still in road and on pavement
