Over hanging tree

Reported via mobile in the Tree Requires Pruning category anonymously at 10:41, Thursday 6 October 2022 using FixMyStreet Pro

Sent to Bromley Council less than a minute later

This has been reported more than several times over the years and is a health and safety issue. Not only are the tree roots lifting the pavement causing injury to children and elderly. The tree has not been pruned in over 13 years and now conker season has hit these are falling at quite a fast rate not only on the road but my back garden and hitting my kitchen windows daily. (These hurt, as I have been hit by one a few times whilst in the garden) the daily rate of leaves os blocking our drains (a rat has been found because of this) please finally cut the tress back to our fence line to avoid these continuous problems

  • I would also like to add that today there are contractors on behalf of Bromley council trimming then tree on the other side of the road which isn’t as bad as the one I’m reporting. Bromley council have a duty of care to ensure the safety of the public especially when it is council property. Please finally trim this back before damaged or injury is caused.
