Anti-skid surface worn out leading to many accidents
Reported via desktop in the Roads/highways category anonymously at 17:03, Wed 5 October 2022
Sent to Leicestershire County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 3870630.
This is a notorious bend where over the years dozens of cars have ended up in one of the hedges or ditches due to being taking through the bend too fast. Years ago the incidence of cars leaving the road dramatically improved when an anti-slip surface was laid. This surface is now worn out in places and cars are once again being trashed on a monthly basis, particularly after a bout of rain. It should be renewed.
