Graffiti on overhead gantry

Sent to Adur District Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 3870494.

Graffiti has started to appear on the overhead gantry on the A27 that provides details for the Holmbush Roundabout slip road and the A27 heading towards Southwick Tunnel. Other signs nearby also have graffiti on them. Could you please arrange a cleanup to prevent it getting worse. Thank you.

  • I’ve written to my MP and had a poor response back stating that Highways England will only remove graffiti once a year. Therefore, they can add as much as they like unchallenged for months on end and ruining infrastructure and blighting the surroundings. I doubt it will be cleaned up every year either. Just weasel words and no action.
