Enfield council neglect

Reported via mobile in the Street cleaning category anonymously at 01:11, Tue 27 September 2022

Sent to Enfield Borough Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 3850867.

The government website states that local councils must empty bins on the street . Enfield targets labour voting streets to clean while we wade in filth. I have spent an hour cleaning Bourne Hill because they do not. They allow household dumping in overflowing street bins along Bourne Hill and never empty them or clean . The road stinks and is full of rats . Today I left covered in child faeces from the dumped nappies - which happens every Friday . I met the street cleaner on Little Bury street who informs me this part of Edmonton is swept each day . When I have enquired why I should live in this disgusting environment because the council can’t be bothered and target conservative voting roads for apathy and neglect , the chief executive told me to stop wasting council time . I have swept Bourne Hill, Hoppers road and Broadwalk for five years now . I would like my street cleaning element of my council tax paid back to me. The BBC have finally responded to my evidence and somebody is contacting me . It’s a corruption travesty .
