Traffic lights need removing

Sent to Reading Borough Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 3849853.

Now that the sidmouth street one way scheme has been made permanent there is no longer a need for the traffic lights for traffic going straight forward on london road or turning left into Sidmouth street. the pednestrian crossings on both london and sidmouth street stray and maybe the sidmouth street pendnestrian crossing needs lights visible from london road for traffic turning into sidmouth street when at red.

  • 2022-11-09 - Great idea. Sadly Reading Borough Council don't do great ideas, so these lights will never be removed despite the fact they are only helping to generate more pollution than is neccessary.
