Bollards missing on school side of pedestrian crossing

Reported via mobile in the Roads/highways category anonymously at 09:03, Monday 26 September 2022

Sent to Hertfordshire County Council less than a minute later

Busy school traffic backed up past this point. Bollards missing on school side, drivers from opposite direction expecting us to mount the kerb to pass. There is something sticking up.from the ground where the bollard was which punctured my tyre the other week. £150 can I claim for this? Please replace the bollards.

Updates

  • Bollard still not repaired, with the very wet weather more traffic than usual and an accident waiting to happen with children crossing at this point where vehicles are mounting the pavement. Have also contacted Simon Balle School suggesting cones are placed on the danger area but nothing.
